Haridwar, Uttranchal, December 2, 2007 (Banjara Times News Bureau): Religious Leader of Bazigar Goaar Community Swami Bhagwan Dass Ji Maharaj Died on 25th November at his native Village Khanauri, Near City Paatran of Punjab. His religious ceremony will be held on 7th December at Village Khanauri, Near Paatran City. Prominent leaders of Bazigar Goaar Community Sadhu Singh Dharamsot, President All India Bazigar-Banjara Sabha, Sham Singh Mashall from Badrukhan, Sangrur, Inder Singh Valjot Advocate, Harbans Lal Lalka from Nabha, Jagir Singh Khalsa (Patiala) and Harbans Mann from Raikot tributed him and they saidthe demise of Swami Bhagwan Dass Ji Maharaj is big loss of community. He will be remember for long time in Bazigar Goaar Community. He did work whole life for the community to uplift them.

Mujaffarnagar, Uttranchal: Baba Lakhi Shah Banjara Foundation will celebrate 327th Death Anniversary of Great Nayak of Goaar Community Baba Lakhi Shah Banjara on June 26th, 2007, which will be held at Gurdwara Baba Lakhi Shah Banjara Yaadgar, Village Qasimpura, Bhopa Road, Mujaffarnagar, Uttranchal.

Charan Singh Nayak, President of Baba Lakhi Shah Banjara Foundation told goaarsofindia.org that on this occassion there will be discussed some important topics of Banjara Community in Banjara Conference. The prominent leaders and intellectuals will address Baba Lakhi Shah Memorial Banjara Conference.
S. Charan Singh Nayak told that the first phase of Baba Lakhi Shah Banjara Educational Academy Building will be complete very soon. In the first phase of Academy, six rooms will be ready for students, Nayak added. Banjara Community of the area is eagerly waiting for the 327th Death Anniversary of Baba Lakhi Shah Banjara.
