Dalwinder Singh also Known as Dalwinder Dayalpuri in Music Industry. His father Subedar Karnail Singh and mother Shrimati Surinder Kaur are living in village Dayalpur, near Kartarpur, Punjab.
He got basic education from Kartarpur and afterwards moved to Khalsa College, Jalandhar, where he represented College & University on various stages.
His singing Guru is ustaad Kuldeep Manak.
He was winner of 1992-1993 'Lok Geet Mukabla' at Guru Nanak Dev University.
He won 1st prize on two occasions at Youth Festival held at Tagore Theater organized by Youth Services Punjab and won several Inter College Folk Song Competitions.
His first album was “Munda Changa Lagda”.
His album 'Nehrian' currently is showing on all Punjabi Music Channels.
He performed at various parts of the world including Europe & Asia more than 5000 times.

‘Khulla Dil’ hits stands
Jalandhar, April 24, 2007 (TNS): ‘Khulla Dil’, an audio album of Dalwinder Dyalpuri, was released by famed Punjabi folk singer Malkit Singh (UK) here today.
Malkit Singh said Dyalpuri was firmly attached to his roots and churns out numbers which capture the true Punjabi flavour.
He said time has come when real singers are getting due recognition as people are getting fed up with the synthetic stuff.
Dyalpuri said music for his album is composed by Gurmit Singh, while Pooja was the co-singer.
The lyrics have been penned down by Jassa Fatehpur Wala, Meet Gurnam, Jogi Jandu Singhe Wala, Ball Butale Wala, and Fatehjit Kangniwal. (With thanks from "Tribune, Chandigarh)
