DHUNDH CELEBRATION: In Gujarat state the HOLI festival is the biggest festival for Goaar Banjaras. Banjaras enjoy too much this festival in villages.   If the child is born after HOLI then for them HOLI is too much interesting. If boy born after HOLI they celebrate "DHUNDH". The meaning of Dhundh is to celebration of function at their house. On the day of Dhundh, Banjaras prepare pure ghee’s KHANDS. The Khands are making from wheat powder. The shape of the Khands is triangle and it is distributed to all tanda.

Celebration of DHUNDH: The Dhundh is celebrated in that house, where the boy born. They send invitations to their relatives for remaining present in Dhundh celebration. So many people are remains present on this day. The Dhundh is kept on the day of HOLI only. Before burning HOLI in night all the people of tanda are coming to the house that has born boy. They are meeting together. They make round with wheat or corn powder at the front of main door. The word of round is sathiya and kept white dhoti on it. Then woman sat with her boy and another woman also sat opposite side of that woman. After this arrangement all the people took small wooden sticks in their hand and two men from his house only took long heavy wooden stick. The long stick is keep over the woman by two people at both ends. Then all the people start singing a song:
Sarik sariya hare ha,
Dhundhe chhe dhundhave chhe,
Atra ore kaka kaki,
Atra ore nana- nani,
Atra ore bhai-bhatija,
Atra ore dada-dadi,
Atra ore fupa fupi,
ohhhhhh
They pronounce the name of the boy and keep small sticks towards sky. Then they repeat same action seven times. After completion of these activities, some people take boy from woman and take it away. After satisfying their requirements in terms of money, they return boy to his mother. At same time some people enter in the house and take some sweets, khands and ghees. After taking these all items they went away and eating there. All the activities finished in the celebration mood.

Then next day they arranged eating program for all the guests and tanda. During this occasion whole day all attendees are dancing and singing HOLI’s songs. Next day all guests start returning to their tandas.
