Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh: First time in history, Goaar Banjaras of DRDO, Hyderabad recently celebrated the 273rd Birth Anniversary of Shri Guru Sevalal Ji Maharaj. The celebrations were organized by Goaars of DRDO with the help of all DRDO employees at Community Hall, DRDO Township, Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh on 26/2/2012 (Sunday).

Goaars of DRDO Hyderabad: Profile: There are 7 labs at Hyderabad (DRDL, DLRL, RCI, ASL, DMRL, RCMA and Anurag) under Defense Research & Development Organization (DRDO). There are 120 Goaars (Lambadi) employees are working in DRDO labs in various posts as, Scientists: 44, Technical officers (TO): 16, senior technical asst. (STA): 20, Technicians: 18, others: 14.

The following guests were invited for the celebrations of 273rd Jayanti of Shri Guru Sevalal Ji Maharaj:

Shri Amar Singh Tilawat, Ex. State Minister & vice President of AIBSS as a chief guest of the function from A.P. Dr. Sriram Pawar, Social Scientist as a Guest of honor of the program from Maharashtra. Shri Bhavsingh Rathod, DGM (BDL) and Shri Ramdas Tejawat, Inspector of Police (Hyderabad) as Special Guest of the program from A.P.

5.            Goaar People of Hyderabad by Shri Ramdas Tejawat ji.
6.            Goaars of Bharat Dynamics limited by Shri Bhavsingh Rathod ji.
7.            Goaars of DRDO by Dr. Lachram Naik, Scientist and Shri Rathod Gopal Naik, Scientist.
8.            Vote of Thanks Mr. Tiruapl Naik, Scientist (DRDO) and Mr. Subash Rathod, Sr. Auditor (CDA) gave welcome speech. Mr. Rukmoji Ramawat Technical Officer (DRDO) addressed the gathering. DRDO employees distributed the shalwa & mementos to all the dignitaries.

Shri Amar Singh Tilawat Ji has given excellent speech (Pravachan) about Shri Guru Sevalal ji Mahraj.

Dr. Sriram Pawar has given memorable Speech about Goaar Samaj dharti, (Culture, traditions and Goaar boli).

Shri Ramdas Tejawat told about Goaar traditions with a Goaar sloka and a song,

Shri Bhavsingh Rathod gave speech on his experience about Goaar samaj and Shri Rathod Gopal Naik and Dr. Lachiram Naik spoken about the Goaar situation in all laboratories and they encouraged, motivated the Goaar people.

Following are the people who directly or indirectly played main role in making this function a grand success: Dr. Lachiram, Rukmoji, M. Tirupal Naik, D. R. Nayak, Venkat Malot, Saida Rathod, Malsur Dharawat, Bhukya Shanker Rao, M. Nehru, P. Indal, M. Chennappa Naik, P.PhulSingh, Shanker Bhukya, U. Goverdhan and Manganna.

After the function, lunch was also arranged for all.

Yavatmal, Maharashtra: In Yavatmal at Vishal Nagar near Deep Nagar on February 15, 2012, 273rd Jayanti of our God, Shri Guru Sevalal Ji Maharaj was celebrated with full enthusiasm. The Function was jointly organized by Banjara Teachers Association, Vasantrao Naik Adhikari Karamchari Sanghtna & All India Banjara Seva Sangh Yavatmal.

On February 15 at 09.30 A.M. all Banjaras gathered at Vishal Nagar Ground & Jayanti Celebrations Started with Praying, Devoting & Hoisting White Flag. Until 05.30 pm all Banjaras participated in Banjara Bhajans & Devotional activities. After this, at 05.45 P.M. Bhog Vidhi started. Prasad of Shira (Sweet) offered to God Sevabhaya by traditional system of Banjaras. Then Ardaas of Sevabhaya presented by P. P. Pawar. & all people followed it. The Jayanti Utsav completed by Mahaprasad of Sweet Sheera & Bhandaara. For this function, about 600 people were participated. All members of above organization did hard work to celebrate Shri Guru Sevalal Maharaj Jayanti Function.
