Lakhbir Lakha and Gurinder Naaz were Star Attraction at the Eve of April 2, 2009





Pohradevi, March 3, 2009: (Shankar Ade, Ritesh Kamal): Every way goes to the Pohradevi, known as Kashi of Banjaras, was full with the devotees of Shri Guru Sevalal Ji Maharaj on March 3, 2009. Every year on the day of Ram Navami, Pohradevi Yaatra is giving Banjaras of India a chance of get together. Banjaras known with too many names i.e. Lambani, Bazigar, Goaar, Gawar, Gavaria, Lambadas, and Labanas come here to pay their tribute to Kul-Guru of Banjaras Shri Guru Sevalal Ji Maharaj. This year gathering of Banjaras was record breaking i.e. estimated at 8 to 10 lacks. Yaatra was started from March 1, 2009. Banjara devotees start coming at Pohradevi from March 1, 2009. Traders start establishing all kind of stalls/shops at Pohradevi. Pohradevi is a small village. Every inch of Pohradevi is filled with the devotees and at night, devotees sleep here and there.

On the evening of March 2, 2009 big ground of Pohradevi was filled with Banjaras in front of the stage settled by various organizations of Banjaras. Banjara Samaj Parivartan Abhiyaan, Shri Sant Sevalal Maharaj Satsang and Pohradevi Yaatra Samiti, All India Banjara Seva Sangh (Maharashtra State Unit) and Sevalal Army are among those Banjara organizations who have control of stage. Program was full of Goaar Dialect Songs, Bhajans, Dances, Comedy and Poetry. Goaar Singer and MH One Channel’s Coca Cola Jodi No. One Award Winner Shri Lakhbir Lakha and Miss Gurinder Naaz were star attraction and most publicized artist in this program. Lakhbir Lakha and Gurinder Naaz presented Goaar Dialect Songs and Sevalal Bhajans. Huge gathering accept their performance with numerous clapping. Bhajans CD presented by Sevalal Army was released by Goaar Leader and M.P. Shri Hari Bhau Rathod, Shri T.C. Rathod (President, AIBSS Maharashtra) and Shri Radhe Shyam Ade (Founder, Sevalal Army).
